How Ivy Tests Works

Ivy Tests is built to feel clean, fast, and focused. For practice tests, you can also set your timing accommodations before you begin, so the timer and pacing match your needs. For problem sets, you can review answer explanations as you work through each question.

Tools you’ll use as you work:

• Highlight: Drag to select text in the question or passage to highlight. A Clear Highlights button appears wherever highlighting is available—one click removes your markups.
• Cross out choices: Click the ✕ next to an answer to strike it out. Click again to bring it back.
• Flag a question: Tap 🚩 to mark a question you want to revisit. Use View Flagged Questions to jump to any flagged question in the current module, and unflag anytime.
• Time limits: Problem Sets are not timed. For practice exams, the section submits for you when time is up.
• Calculator note: Quant includes an on-screen calculator. Its look and functions may differ from other practice tools or the official exam.
• Adaptive testing: For GRE® practice tests, Verbal 1 and Quant 1 start at medium difficulty. Verbal 2 and Quant 2 adjust based on how you did in the first module.
• One question per page: Move with Previous / Next. Your selections save automatically as you navigate.
